Robert Burgon has been employed by the Scottish & Northern Ireland Plumbing Employers' Federation (SNIPEF) since 1978 and has been Director & Secretary since 1988. He is also Manager of the £1.1billion Plumbing and Mechanical Services (UK) Industry Pension Scheme. Robert is currently Chairman of the World Plumbing Council (WPC) which aims to promote the links between good plumbing, good health and the environment. He coordinated plans for the first World Plumbing Day which was celebrated on 11 March 2010.
