The Association of British Insurers is the voice of the insurance and investment industry. Our members make up over 90 per cent of the insurance market in the UK and 20 per cent across the EU, and control assets equivalent to a quarter of the UK’s capital. They are the risk managers of the UK’s economy and society. Through the ABI, their voice is heard in Government and in public debate on insurance, savings and investment matters. The ABI acts as an advocate for high standards of customer service in the insurance industry, and provides a wide range of information and guidance for consumers and businesses. The range of financial products we are concerned with includes home, motor, travel, protection and medical insurance through to pensions, savings, investments and retirement income. This blog will cover these and plenty of other relevant issues. More information about insurance for consumers and businesses is available on our web site at www.abi.org.uk.
