What’s your ultimate challenge? Make 2010 your year to get active and take on your own challenge. Whether you want to run, trek, swim or cycle you can do it all for Marie Curie Cancer Care either at home or abroad.
Five great reasons to get involved in Rise to the Challenge 2010
* Get fit and active
* Get everyone involved and spend time with family and friends
* Take on an event in memory of a loved one
* Have fun and do something silly
* Fulfil a lifetime ambition
Whatever you enjoy – swimming, dancing, running, walking, cycling, tennis or tea parties – there’s a challenge just for you. To find out more details visit http://www.mariecurie.org.uk/events/rise_to_the_challenge/
Join in the Blooming great Tea Party and help to raise £1 million
It can be as simple as having a few friends round for tea and cakes at home to hosting a much bigger tea party with neighbours or colleagues. Hold your party at home, work, school or with your local club. It’s really up to you.
The official tea party season is June 12 to July 12 but we don’t mind if you are early or late. The Blooming Great Tea Party is a fun way to raise money to provide vital nursing care for the terminally ill in your area. See details here http://www.mariecurie.org.uk/supportus/fundraising/blooming_great_tea_party/
Run your own event
This year, what better way to support the charity than organising your own fundraising event in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care? Simply get together with friends, family or work colleagues and have lots of fun doing the things you enjoy, knowing that every penny you raise will help a family affected by cancer.
