WHITEHILLS HARBOUR & MARINA
Whitehills is a Trust Harbour, established by Act of Parliament in 1895, and is fully maintained and run by nine elected Commissioners from the village. It has been run this way since the Harbour was built in 1900.
Whitehills was a very successful fishing port up until 1999, when due to changes in the fishing industry, the Commissioners decided to develop it as a Marina.
In 2004 the Harbour won The Grampian Awards for Business Enterprise and the Alick Buchanan Smith Spirit of Enterprise Award
Berths are available in the inner and outer basin.
The Marina has 40 serviced pontoon berths plus 7 unserviced pontoon berths.
Serviced berths are fully secure with a coded combination lock on the entrance gate, and covered by CCTV camera.
Visitor berthing is in the outer basin on a 56 metre pontoon with access bridge. Pontoons have lighting bollards with electricity points and drinking water.
