Went there for a Birthday dinner. We waited about 20 mins for food to arrive after having to ask for a clean glass as the one I got was unclean, I was then given a second one with such a bad attitude that I didn't ask for another and drank from the bottle. I ordered the Duck enchilada, it arrived burned around the edges and with little or no meat. Everyone else said thier meal was so-so. The toilets were very unclean and smelled bad. The staff seemed ill informed about the menu. Have had better meals and payed less for them.Report this
Avoid this pub!!

I took my family out for a meal at the Bostin Fittle in Dudley, we ordered our food and drinks upon arrival, the pub was not really busy so did not expect the food to take too long, after 20 minutes the waitress came over to our table with a small plate of cheesey garlic bread, I assumed the rest of the food would soon follow, but, another 25 minutes went by with no sign of our meals!! I went to the bar to ask where the food was, and it was apparent they had "forgot" our order! so, we requested a refund and left (NEVER to make a return visit)! before we left I paid a visit to the toilet, the door was proped open, as i entred i understood why, there was a very strong damp/unclean smell! the carpet at the end of the room was torn very badly I looked in 2 different cubicals before settling for the third because there was poo on the toilet seat of one and the other was blocked and full with tissue paper!! overall opinion..... disgusting! Bad service! staff are unfriendly pub is unclean, I would not recommend it to anyone!Report this
Good Location, Nice Atmosphere

The Bostin'Fittle(good old fashioned Black Country name for 'great food')is very conveniently situated on Castlegate which is really handy for the Showcase Cinema, the Zoo, Bowling Alley and local businesses on the development. We went for a girls night out after visiting the cinema. It has a very good atmosphere, is spacious and reasonably priced. Plenty of seating and a wide range of drinks, including wines. Usual pub food but very nicely cooked - Steaks, pastas, salads, chicken dishes - can recommend the one wrapped in bacon and cheese - yummy! Also offer Lite Bites for smaller appetites. They have good list of desserts(ice creams and tarts) and the coffee is very drinkable. The Menu also says they do an All Day breakfast but didn't sample it myself. Appear to have good facilities for families but again, didn't use them myself. Got the usual large screen televisions. Will definitely go again for variety of menu and handy location!Report this
