Simply Fish Kettering
17/12/2013 by DazzaRazza
Simply put, if you want really good quality fish and chips served in a friendly clean environment then this is the place to go. I moved to Kettering two years ago and have sampled all the takeaways in the area. Most other places even including the town centre Mcdonalds and KFC are the worst I have ever been to. The local Kebab shops and chip shops in my opinion are just awful and appear to fester in rough areas. Giving reviews is down to personal opinion but I plan on going to Simply Fish tonight. The reason I wrote this review was purely because I wanted to check online for the opening times and I have seen that Simply fish do not have the positive reviews they deserve! Well done Simply Fish!!Report this
fantastic food shame about ignorance of my sons disability
06/04/2012 by darrrenwilson1
the food here is fantastic. my kids enjoyed the kids size portions of fish and chips, unfortunately my youngest boy, who is autistic and is mentally challenged, was having one of his "episodes" and was crying and upset (not at the food though !!) just one of those things that happen for no reason with his disability. i was asked twice by staff to do something to quieten him as it may put other people off their food. i did explain that my son was autistic and staff did say while they may sympathise with that, they did not want other customer put off their food. although they did not say "shut him up or get out" it felt like i was being frowned on for having an unruly brat of a kid and not disciplining or bringing my kids up to show respect or something. whether any other customers complained or not i am not sure, but feel it is very disappointing that this attitude exists and my son physically looks ok but he is not in a wheelchair or does not have an obvious phsical disability. mental illness and disability can be very hard to live with as it is not as obvious as physical disabilities. rant over, fantastic food, possibly best i have tasted, just dont go with someone with autism/menatal health problemsReport this
