I bought a Livingsocial voucher for a 'Luxury' Facial and Aloe Body Wrap. I really despise businesses who run these promotions for a quick money grab and forget that they could be developing a long term customers. From the time I made my appointment until the actual treatment this place was terrible. A week before my appointment I finally made an appointment after 1. being disconnected by a receptionist 2. calling back and leaving a message, then finally after another day 3. me calling them back and speaking to the rudest receptionist (who turned out to also be the therapist) I've ever dealt with. I was actually dreading the session (and if I had of read these reviews I would have followed my instinct). The other reviewers have done a great job describing the 'spa' treatment you receive. Horrible! The best part of my experience was when the receptionist/therapist asked me if i had a shower before coming! You'll have to take my word for it that I'm very clean! They earn one star only because the room was warm and the place was clean and the service was so terrible it gave me and my boyfriend something to laugh about over dinner. Also, they have an old school answering machine. I heard clients calling and leaving messages while I sat in the waiting room. Remember this if you call for a Colonic!Report this
Rude and unprofessional

The worst service I have received in my life! I bought two groupon vouchers for a body wrap and facial for myself and my boyfriend. When I called to book our appointments the receptionist informed the that this would not be possible as they do not offer the service to men. As this was not mentioned in the offer I requested a refund and was told to email the manager. Four weeks later after email reminders and many phone calls where I was reassured that the manager would get back to me, the issue was still not sorted. The receptionist had always been rude and full of attitude. I called again and demanded to talk goth e manager only to be told that this was not possible asthma get was Slovakian and did not speak english. When I asked how she would manage my complaint if she did not speak English and why I had been told that she would call me back the receptionist called me a racist!!!! Awful service, unprofessional, rude and offensive. Giving one star is too much! Having read the reviews from people who actually had the treatment bought through groupon at least I am glad I missed that horrible experience.Report this
WORST PLACE EVER DO NOT GO.

This is the worst place I have ever been!! Advertised as 'luxury' and was far from it!! I had booked through wowcher for a luxury body wrap and facial. There was no sign of a receptionist or any employee at all when I entered the salon. After twenty minutes I went in search of the foreign voices I could hear. I knocked on a door and was told that I would be seen to soon. I waited a further ten minutes during which a woman passed several times without any eye contact or acknowledgment. Thirty minutes after my appointment time I was told I could go through to the treatment room, still without any greeting or introductions. I was told to change into my underwear and get into a towel. I was left to do this for approximately fifteen minutes - far longer than it took. When the attendant came back into the room I was told to stand without the towel - this was uncomfortable enough - then she applied cold cream to my legs hips and stomach and wrapped me in cling-film. The room was not warm and this did not help. I was then given my facial - if you can call it that!!! I was given a face wash, dabbed with kitchen roll!!! and then a 'mask' was applied and I was left for 15minutes then I was dabbed with more kitchen roll and had some moisturiser applied. The care, detail and expertise was minimal. I have given MYSELF better facials than this!!! Now to remove the cling-film. The girl asked me if the wrap was warm to which I replied 'no, actually i'm quite cold'. Her response was to touch my stomach and say 'no - you're warm!' My two sisters were waiting in the reception area to be seen next. I would not allow them to have these awful treatments and would not recommend it to anyone else. Not luxury!! Certainly not professional!! Not as advertised!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!Report this

Giving this a 1 star is too much! I got a voucher for full body aloe Vera wrap and luxury facial. Having had wraps and facials before I know what to expect but the treatments at Paramount were comical. Reception area is lovely and bright and professional looking and the girls were polite and friendly. BUT.... I was taken to my room and asked to change into an old towelling wrap. I was then left for at least 10 mins. When the 'therapist' returned I had cream put on my hips and thighs and then wrapped in cling film. Then wrapped in a blanket. My facial... a foaming face wash applied and taken off with a small sponge. Then my face was dried with kitchen roll, yes kitchen roll! A smelly mask was then applied and I was left for 15 mins. Finally I had mask taken off with what felt like, again, kitchen roll. A thick moisturiser applied. Cling film taken off, and then told to wipe off excess with.....kitchen roll!! 'Treatment' lasted no more than 30 mins. Completely hideous! I then checked the products used, you can buy the face wash and mask at poundland!! Not professional at all, and an insult to all beauty salons by being called a professional beauty salon. Avoid avoid avoid! Sorry to disappoint all those who will be expecting a professional treatment after buying the voucher, but its not worth it and you'd be better off doing it at home yourself!!Report this

Had a voucher for a body scrub and a luxury facial. Approached the receptionist who was unhelpful and extremely rude to me. The treatment was awful and all they did was put some cream on me and put a wrap over it and left me for 30 mins. The facial was rubbish - was definitely NOT a luxury facial. DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE. YOU ARE ONLY GOING TO BE SEVERELY DISAPPOINTED. Avoid it like the plague.Report this
Do not book

Went with a voucher for a full body wrap and luxury facial. Was taken into a room and told i was basically overweight and needed to stop eating. The body wrap was some cream put on me and then wrapped in cling film and wrapped in a blanket on a bed, and the 'luxury facial' was some cream put on my face and left for 30 minutes or so. I was also being talked about when they left the treatment room, but doors are not soundproof!! Very rude, please do not go here!!Report this

Don't go there. I had a lunch time booking, but woke up that day very ill, and had to arrange a doctor's appointment. I called early morning to rearrange my treatment appointment, only to be told that the strict 48 hour cancellation policy meant I had to pay for the treatment (it was pre paid) and it was not their fault I was ill! I spoke to what I assume was a manager and she was excitable and rude. Even though i was wanting to move the appointment just by a few days, she had no sympathy. Well, they won't be getting any repeat business. I would not touch this business. It was not so much the cancellation policy but the terrible attitude of the so called manager that hurt.Report this

Dreadful place disgraceful service ... not sure where these people trained if at all. the receptionist took me through to a room and proceeded to do my treatments .. her nail where like talons and bright red ... wrapped and left in room.. then my facial !! told my skin was "broken redness" then the hard sell for their products something dabbed on then left in the room for 15 mins .. then the back massage .. 10 mins of rubbing with hands (and talons) in oversized vinyl gloves .. not on a massage table so uncomfortable neck postion .. told not to move and left in the room for 10 mins ..Glad to get out ...Report this
helpful friendly staff who knew their stuff

Went for a Gyloic peel, which was great for my skin. Also great staff, who gave me some great advise about my skin , not just based on what products they wanted to sell you ( like most places in this type of business!), but based on real knowledge and experience. Would highly recommend to anyone, I'll definitely go back.Report this
