Booking System/Customer Care Lets them down

Have been going to this salon since I moved here in April this year every 2weeks for shellac nails and Caci and every month for a cut and blow dry , sometimes a colour. This salon is not cheap but has received lots of awards. This is why I chose o go here. However, altho the beauty treatments are very professional and well done< I have been let down on several occasions with the booking system and customer care.: Twice I have had gel infillls booked and have phoned to re book appointments as soak off and reapplications were required (which I know requires more time) and twice they have either not listened or not allocated enough time. The last time I was told that I could keep my 11.15 appointment, they could do my soak off and extentsions, but would need to come back after 2pm for the colour to be put on! Excuse me, do I not have things to do? Am I not the customer? No apology.. I have phoned to make appointment to have the phone answered "Can I call you back I am in the stock room at moment...!) I made an appointment for a cut a blow dry with the salon owner who cut my hair last time, to a very high standard I might add. When I turned up, somebody completely different cut my hair (not up to standard), without any apology or explanation. Final straw was I received a phone call from beauty manager at 8.25 this morning saying that she had received my voice mail cancelling appointment... I tried to explain to her why I was upset, only to be talked over.! I was then given the excuse for the hair cut, "oh the salon owner isn't taking on any more clients, just her existing ones" at which point I explained I WAS an exsisting client, then I was told Oh her father died, so she wasn't in on that day. Whilst, I am deeply sorry for her loss, this should not be used as an excuse for poor customer service. We all have personal problems but can still act professionally! I should add I have worked for many years in a Spa at a five star deluxe hotel so can appreciate both sides. LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS, DONT PATRONISE THEM OR TALK OVER THEM!!! I will not be returning and have taken my business to a salon that provides customer service.Add comment Report this review
