The staff are very welcoming and and attentive. The food was presented well and very tasty. The entertainment was excellent. The only fault with this place is the tired decor. But this by no means spoilt our visit and we will be returning. This place is ideal for parties of all sizes. We were in a group of 6 and there were larger and smaller tables.Report this

This little place is quite good. It has been owned by the same family for over fourty years. It is a friendly place and tries to keep up with current Italian trends. The prices are not Michelin and the food is basic with enough of it. The special nights are brilliant with the tribute shows, you go to join in and enjoy yourself........Report this

Brilliant! At last I have found a restaurant in Rayleigh that serves a proper Sunday Lunch, serves a CHOICE of SHERRIES and has proper Table Cloths and Napkins. Also, there was a young Italian family: Mum, Dad, Gran and twins in high chairs who were able to speask their own language and also banter the WHOLE TIME they were at the restaurant, so they really felt it was home from home!Report this

This is the original Italian style restaurant in Rayleigh, although a couple of others have tried to muscle in on their patch. One being a tacky chain, don't ASK! Despite the competition this is still the best around with loads of ambiance, great prices, food, services and very clean. A good meal on a themed night for example (and there's enough of them) range from £19.99 to £24.99 per person. The piped music can be a bit loud if you want a chat and the lady who often takes drink orders gets confused easily (and I'm sure the music doesn't help) so you'll have to make yourself heard. The only downside is it's small, they try their best with the space available but this does result in some squash tables on occasions. Also, if you need to use the facilities, personally I'd try and wait 'till you get home as the toilets really do let this fantastic restaurant down.Report this
Don't go there

Used to be a good restaurant, all be it, a bit uncomfortable. The food is now very ordinary and overpriced, the tables and chairs are still uncomfortable and the whole placed looks like it could do with a good spring clean and redecoration. Sautes were complately overdone and very greasy.Report this
