went to knockagh lodge in april 2011, we both had mixed grill, at £15 it was not good value for money, the plate was swimming in the juice of the meat and the chicken was under cooked, there is nothing professional about knockagh lodge it used to be good but not anymore,i think it could do with a facelift, different menu and more choice of draught lagers ,i think it will be a long time before i go back, i am sorry but this review had to be said it really has gone downhill, changes need to be made from the top to the very bottom.Report this

Seated and served quickly. Staff were not really helpful - although there was a Table D'hote offer this was not pointed out and the detail for this in the menu said Sat / Sun (although elsewhere it stated this was mon to fri too). My son (12) ordered a beefburger - he told me afterwards that it said it came with cheese/bacon/ pepper sauce - none of these were offered and they did not appear on the very dry burger which had a piece of lettuce and loads of tomato (which my son doesnt like). I ordered beef curry, which, strangely, came with garlic bread. It had no spice atall - very uninteresting flavour. Won't be going back.Report this
