Probably one of the best in the town

Contrary to the other review on this pub, I find it to be relaxed, friendly and clean. Not the biggest selection of drinks around but good for the size of the place. Never had any trouble while I've been in - I live about 3 miles away from the town and I always make a point to go in when I'm in the area. It has the added bonus of being in amongst some great restaurants so good for a drink before or after your meal. Well worth a trip!Report this
Awful Staff. Awful Service.

The one star is purely for the fact that they sell beer. This is a pub for local regulars only. I have made two attempts to visit this pub and both times I was treated to rude and arrogant staff who could care less if they were getting your money. The range of drinks are severly limited and there isn't much choice of the spirits either. You cnstantly get eyed up and down when your in here and just generally made to feel uncomfortable. There were two seperate occasions of fights breaking out whilst we were at this pub and as mentioned before it was an incredibly uncomfortable venue to be in. Also it is at the opposite end of the high street where all the pubs and clubs are so it's a bit out of the way.Report this
