Ive been here a few times midweek and weekends and its always busy. The only part im marking down is the service due to queues and waiting time ive had for people to take my order and serve the food. Ive had steak and roast beef most times and ive never been dissapointed. I wouldnt say its expensive but its not on the cheap side either. Average meal for 2 courses no alcohol worked out around £40. Good spot for families as it is right opposite the belfast zoo.Report this

The Bellevue Arms has been established in Newtownabbey since the 1930's and has stood the test of times both as a ''Watering Hole'' and a Restaurant. It tends to be busy 7 days a week (especially at weekends) which is always a good sign. I went for lunch one day and with it being a Monday, I was surprised how busy it was. The menu has wide selection of dishes, as well as a daily special menu, with prices quite reasonable. I enjoyed my lunch at would go back to again. I have also been told that is a very good place to go to for an evening meal. If you are lucky enough to get a seat by the window, the view over looking Belfast Lough on a sunny day is very picturesque (if you are in to that sort of thing!).Report this
