A knowledgeable professional
04/12/2012 by baker921
I have just bought a house where the garden has been neglected for at least 25 years and some very large trees needed radical surgery. Ben Hall of B Hall Tree Surgeons responded immediately to my request for a free quotation, gave expert advice and left me with a written quotation. Ben turned up with his small team on the allotted day and before I could offer him the customary drink was half way up my 60 foot Turkey Oak! He then proceeded to direct his team with clear instructions ensuring both his safety and that of passersby, the tree over hung the road. The Oak (its trunk had a 4 foot diameter) was dismantled without incident and a couple of “easy” Leylandii half its height felled. The back garden was overshadowed by two equally tall Hornbeams where the concerns of my neighbours needed to be taken into consideration. Ben explained how to prune the trees to give me the light I needed whilst preserving their shape and health, preventing dieback. I didn’t understand all the technicalities but I am certainly pleased with the result. The work took two days, all the mess was cleared up and there were no nasty surprises when the bill was presented. My only extras were a plentiful supply of cold squash, tree surgery it seems is hot work even in November! I found Ben Hall to be a knowledgeable professional and would recommend him whether you were looking to preserve an old friend or remove an intrusive thug.Report this
