Swan Hotel dates back to 1759, prominent building on the High Street, newly refurbished bar/restaurant and newly refurbished 15 en suite bedrooms. The hotel's bar, serving the family owned George Gale & Co Ltd Ale, proves to be particularly popular with locals and guests alike. This hotel is right in the heart of Arundel, a short distance from the entrance to Arundel Castle. Dating back to the Eighteenth century the hotel retains many of its historic features and has a traditional feel. The rooms, whilst comfortable and adequately furnished, are a little tired looking and not overly large but in keeping with the style of building. The food was freshly prepared, very well presented and some imaginative choices were available along with a range of beers and wines to complement the meal. Breakfast again was prepared to order and very tasty. There is no car park to the hotel itself but a large public car park behind the hotel can be used overnight with street parking or paid car parking during daytime. An ideal base for Arundel Castle and the delightful countryside aroundReport this
