Avoid a makeup faux pas with Lipcote

I have discovered a new makeup bag staple that I will never leave the house without again.

After experiencing a classic fashion faux pas on a date this week, my friends informed me about something that made me wish I’d already known about.

It’s not like first dates aren’t traumatic enough without realising half way through dinner that I had lipstick across my teeth.

At least it prompted a giggle once I returned to the table, but I have vowed not to wear a bold lip colour again without sealing it with a product like Lipcote.

Lipcote is a transparent lipstick sealer and not only will it prevent colour transferring to your teeth, but it also helps to keep it on when drinking, eating and … kissing.
It’s also nice and cheap, retailing at around £3.49 – which isn’t bad for preventing a cringe-worthy makeup malfunction.
Marie Claire this month recommended the Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place lipstick for a long-lasting effect.
