Easidream fits into most cots

One of the hardest things you have to deal with when looking after your little one is their irregular sleep patterns.

Lack of sleep can make it really difficult to be productive the next day and can have an impact on many areas of your life, so when I heard about this product it seemed like a little ray of light!

I haven’t tried it out, but Easydream claims to help aid natural sleep in babies by imitating the rocking sensations they are used to when they were in the womb.

The company said that when the product was used during trials, “settle down to sleep time” fell from an average of 18 minutes to just one.

It is a pneumatic pad that fits into most normal cots and gives the baby the sensation of being cradled, inventor Lynda Harding explained.

The baby centre recommends following a bedtime routine with your baby from when they are around six to eight weeks old.

By teaching your baby what to expect, they are more likely to fall asleep quickly.

Routines can vary but some include baths, putting on pyjamas and having a quiet cuddle.
