Wirral Sash Windows specializes in the repair, renovation and reinstatement of all types of traditional timber window. Whether it be a broken sash cord, misted up window unit or large scale installation of timber windows, we pride ourselves on using local craftsmen who provide a genuine service and the highest quality of workmanship.

    Our house was built in 1905 & still retains the original Sash Windows - so it took us some time to choose somebody to restore them to their former glory. Tim spent a week doing the repairs & rennovations & has done a remarkable job. All the draughts have gone & we've lost that horrible rattle from all our windows - we really notice how much quieter & warmer it is. We're really pleased with the results. Tim was on time every day & got on with the work without fuss or bother. He left everything neat & tidy when he went home & all in all did a thoroughly professional job. A top class tradesman in every respect & we would'nt hesitate to recommend. His work is genuinely appreciated.

  2. A true craftsman

    We were very nervous about having our original Victorian windows replaced. However when Tim brought the samples round to our house we were confident we were dealing with someone who understood how important windows are to the appearance of Victorian houses. The new windows match the design of the originals and, by being double glazed, have made our house so much warmer and quieter. I would not hesitate to recommend Tim, his work is of the highest quality and he keeps to the timescales agreed. We are very lucky to have such a skilled craftsman in our area.

  1. Replacement Timber Framed Sash

    We didn't want to replace our original Victorian windows with some modern alternative that wouldn't be inkeeping with house. However, we wanted double glazing to prevent heat loss. Tim did a fantastic job fitting a timber framed double glazed sash with all the original features. The window looks superb and we are 100% happy with his work. He is obviously an expert in his field and I would most certainly recommend him.

    Tim replaced a rotten window sill on the third floor of my grade 2 listed home in chester *from the inside*. I was really impressed as I thought I'd need scaffolding etc. Tim did a great job and I'd definitely recommend him to others. He really knows about sash windows.
