Whitgift Hire has three locations situated in South East England and operates a 400 plus fleet comprising of cars, minibuses, vans, tippers & 7.5 ton trucks.     Booked...or so we thought, a vehicle using their website and was informed someone would be in contact......6 days ago. Called today to be told that no record of contact held....mistakes happen I guess. The guy on the other end of the phone was dismissive, sullen and basically couldnt be bothered to even try to rectify the problem. Just said to call back tomorrow. TERRIBLE customer service. Its not the first time we've had problems but it is the last time we'll use them. Using Number One Van Hire in Beddington who even sent me pictures of the vehicle to hire to make sure we were happy with it. What a difference in service. Bye Bye Whitgift!
