A family run business, Est 1988 by Bill Kirkpatrick. Guaranteed by the Retail Motor Industry and a member of the "Trust My Garage" scheme. We can cater for all your motoring needs.

Wheatsheaf Garage Limited was established in 1988 by proprietor Bill kirkpatrick. We are located in the village of Brigham, just off the A66. The garage has operated since 1920 by the Allport family. We bought the garage in 1988 after selling our coach business to CMS. In 2000 we expanded into an additional premises which more than doubled our workspace. We were one of the first garages in the UK to update our MOT facilities to an automated test lane. We now have 5 vehicle service bays as well as the MOT test lane. We employ 5 fully qualified mechanics and 1 apprentice.

The main goal of the Wheatsheaf Garage is to create a loyal and trusting client relationship by providing high levels of customer service and building a reputation of high quality work provided by all our mechanics so that customers will return knowing they have recieved the best care for their vehicles.

    I recently had my car Mot done here for the first time since moving to Cumbria. I was recommended to visit by several people and I certainly wasn't disappointed. The staff are all so friendly and very welcoming. My car was tested and all ready for me and everything was explained thoroughly and clearly. I was delighted with the efficient service and would definitely use this garge again. It makes a wonderful change to find a honest, kind and caring garage like this.
