Waterwheel Inn & Carvery

We are now taking bookings for Easter with all the food serving times on our website.

The Water Wheel is a family run traditional country pub/restaurant situated on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors and very close to the North East coast, serving traditional English fayre mixed with a few other dishes from around the world.Our carvery is very well known in Teesside,Yorkshire and beyond and is very popular on Sunday afternoons(normally with a trip to Whitby taken in).

We use local produce and suppliers where ever possible with our meat coming from two local family butchers,vegetables from a family store and our dairy products from a local farm.

We can cater for one person up to 120 people for a sit down meal and even more for parties including birthdays,anniversaries and weddings.We also have walking and cycling parties who regularly visit us with garage space available for cycles.Bikers are also made welcome.

The Christmas carvery fayre for staff,friends or family parties are very popular through out December and going into January!
