just finished our performance in the village hall in the village, in which I live, in which the pub is located, a pub I have drunk in previously.this evening at 22:45 I went in for a little after show drink, the bar was buzzing full of people having a good time, many drinks in hands, a few ladies smoking outside, when I got to the bar saw a range of lovely real ales, however the Landlord Mark who has previously been very amenable told me the bar was closed!at 22:45.with a bar full of people drinking.WTF.did he call last orders early. did he not want a little more trade.surely even if he called last orders, that doesn't mean you close the bar. that is time at the bar. last orders is a ten minute time for folk to get to the bar for a last order!sadly the bar is not a huge hit in the village, now has lost another street, as we are NOT going back!
