  2. How to scare your children into avoiding the dentist

    12/04/2012 by

I thought intimidating dentists were a thing of the past. I recall avoiding dentists in my youth as they used to make you feel dirty and incompetent if you had a bit of plaque on your teeth. My children have just had the (dis)pleasure of attending this dentist and being asked if they knew which end of the toothbrush to clean their teeth with. Both my children left the dentist upset (they are 6 and 9 years old) and don't want to go there ever again. They won't be. I am now putting them into the care of the private dentist I go to at Christchurch medical centre
