Tea Room At Oriel Daniel

Welsh Tea with the Stars at Oriel Daniel - Recently awarded 5 Stars For Excellence by Anglesey County Council.

This is a new addition to the Gallery offering Traditional Cream Teas and light lunches.

Freshly prepared cheese, turkey, egg and ham sandwiches, scones with clotted cream, bara brith and welsh cakes are all served with a cup of loose tea or coffee in the finest bone china on crisp white linen tablecloths.

All produce is bought locally, apart from the clotted cream which comes from Cornwall.

A new attraction at Oriel Daniel for 2012 is ‘Tea with the Stars’. While you enjoy your tea and cake, you can examine a set of delightful paintings depicting some of the cinema’s most famous stars, such as Charlie Chaplin, Marilyn Monroe, Sean Connery, Marlene Dietrich, Laurel and Hardy and the Marx Brothers. These images are the work of renowned local artist Karel Lek MBE, RCA. Oriel Daniel expects this attraction to be very popular in the future and it enables people to enjoy the company of the stars while enjoying a traditional Welsh tea on the high street, in the centre of Llangefni.
