Station Taxis

Based inside York’s train station, Station Taxis is one of the oldest taxi companies in the city. With easy access from the train, passengers can travel in comfort and style.

Station Taxis offer a 24 hour taxi and private car hire service. They also do railway station and airport drop-offs. Accounts are welcome.

York Station Taxis are the only hackney carriage taxi firm in York and have nearly 100 years of experience. All our cars are black and our drivers are in uniform (white shirt and black trousers). They have executive vehicles and 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8- seater vehicles.

York Station Taxis have business account facilities, credit card facilities and offer 10% discount to students, with over 20 multi seater vehicles, which are available at the cheapest rates in York, not time and half like many other firms. York Station Taxis also offer special discounted rates for long distance journeys.

York Station Taxis have the largest fleet of Wheelchair friendly vehicles in York, which come equipped with ramps to make loading easy, safety belts and experienced drivers.
