The senior club instructor is Steve Creasy, 4th Dan, who is also the chairman of the South region of BKI. You will receive instruction in a friendly club in a safe environment from qualified and licensed instructors who are CRB registered. The club is not commercially run, and places a great emphasis on a high standard of instruction. We teach children (min age 7) and adults.

Beginners are always welcome. You will learn traditional karate, including Kihon ('basic moves), Kata ('patterns') and Kumite (application or sparring). You will benefit from an increase in health & fitness, a boost in confidence and you will learn self-defence.

The club is a member of Bukonkai Karate Int., an association of karate clubs throughout the UK and Malta. We hold frequent grading examinations, competitions and special courses. Bukonkai Karate is a member of FEKO (Federation of English Karate Organisations).
