I am a seamstress. I have a city and Guilds NVQ in interior design. I enjoy making a size 10 dress fit a size 16. I can also slim it down and make your dress fit you if it is too big. I can do this most of the time with my personal tailor tricks. I also design unusual things like garden swing covers and lampshades. Can do all your personal clothing and curtain alterations. I can make cushions too. I have regular customers and can also do most alterations in a hurry if you need them.

  2. Prom dress alteration

    My daughter was adamant she wanted this particular dress even though the zip wouldn't do right up to the top, I searched on yell.com and found Sharon (supermend) she lived local so called for her opinion, lovely friendly lady who said it was no problem and that she could alter the prom dress incorporating a corset style back removing the zip - this was carried out quickly and efficiently the result, my daughter looked stunning!! Ps the pic of the white/red dress is my daughters dress!! Would highly recommend and would most definitely return in the future :) thanks Sharon x

    I am so glad I chose Supermend to alter my dress as it's a very delicate fabric with sequins and mesh over the top of it. A job that had to be done with a careful steady hand. It was lovely to see how much enthusiasm Supermend had, you could feel the passion in her work, which made me feel at ease I knew my dress was in safe hands. The end result was efficient and looked fantastic! Thank You so much for making my dress Perfect! I would recommend Supermend to anyone that needs any alterations as I was very pleased!     would like to highly recomend this business my husband had bought me an evening dress from america for new years eve party when it arrived it was to big on the top , may i point out not as straight forward as it sounds as it had multiple layers , and i only had 3 days , which was met with no problems and looked far better than what it started out at all hung purfect . thank you so much will defantly be recomending you to all my friends & family .thanks againLoraine

    I used this service for three pairs of trousers as I had bought the wrong size but did not have time to send them back as I was going on holiday, not only did I get them done in time but it was done late in the evening to get me out of trouble and I also purchased a Supermend kit to take with me. This is a complete and efficient repair/ alteration service by people who care about what they do. Many thanks.
