About us

Free trial swim for every new hydrotherapy customer.

Quiet Acres Boarding Kennels, Cattery & Canine Hydrotherapy is set in an idyllic rural Suffolk setting just 1 minute from the A140 halfway between Norwich and Ipswich, just outside Diss. Quiet Acres is a small, friendly, family business run by Phil, Tracey and Paula.

As pet owners we understand what an anxious time it can be to have to leave your cat or dog in the trust of a stranger. For this reason you are very welcome to look around the premises before you decide to leave your beloved pet with us at Quiet Acres. We have an open door policy (10:30am-12:00noon and 14:00 - 15:00 Mon-Sat) and as such do not ask you to make an appointment as we feel it is important for you to get a TRUE feeling of how we and our staff work and care for all the animals.

We look forward to meeting you and your pets soon.

  1. Excellent Kennels

    10/04/2013 by

Quiet Acres is an excellent kennels, my dog Bailey always comes home smelling fresh and looking exercised (which can't be said of all kennels he's been to). The staff are very friendly and he clearly loves them. They are really easy to find just off the A140 just outside of Eye, I will be returning

Professional and helpful personnel, and most importantly, animal lovers too. The kennels are clean and well cared for.My dogs can't wait to get out of the car, so obviously they are extremely happy to be back at Quiet Acres.

I've used the hydro centre and now the kennels and think they are both great, Phil is great with Charlie in the pool and Tracey,Paula,Sam and Rachel really have an affection for Charlie. I feel really relaxed and happy that I can leave him in a freindly caring enviroment. Just visit and you will know what I mean. A+++

  2. Great Kennels

I've used this kennel twice now and have not been dissapointed on both occasions. The staff are friendly and my girl seems happy to see them. I visited several kennels in the area and most either didnt walk them or just put all the kennels dogs into a paddock together which worried me, Quiet Acres was the only one to offer several walks a day which I feel my young girl needed. I will be using their services again and would reccomend.

  3. Disappointing

    03/08/2012 by

This was the first time we had to leave our dog in kennels and I wish we could of gone some where else, but these were the only ones with space when we needed it. The kennels looked quite old and look like they could be cold in winter. Our dog came back smelling quite bad, we did book in for her to have a bath (one of the services they offer) but there was a 'clerical error' so she did not get her bath.

  1. Fantastic

This was my first visit to Quiet Acres and I will be using their services again. My dog came out just as I left her and we took full advantage of their extra services, she had a swim in their hydrotherapy pool and a shampoo and condition before she came home. I have used other kennels in the past but Quiet Acres are by far the best.
