Mistletoe bakery is the best bakers in town, amazing food, the sky sports blokes can't be wrong! Has been mentioned many a time by jeff stelling!No problems with moody staff!My fav and has been for years is the poppy knot!Would recommend for anyone to pop in for your daily loaf! | Report this

health warning to customers - iwillhaveul0l (19/08/2011)

the kitchen at the back of the shop in full view of the customers is flithy dirty. overcrowded with too many bakers. the back yard is infetised with rats because of the rubbish and the flith. the man who owns it is miserable never smiles and grunts at people. you ring up he talks to you as if you are nobody. yes great for students going in drunk at all hours but maybe....you had one too many ...dont blame the drink for feeling ill the next day it,l be the pasty or pizza you had from this place. | Report this

The Mistletoe Bakery is situated within Jesmond and supplies some of the greatest baked goods in Newcastle upon Tyne. The Bakery supplies all the usual goods such as freshly baked bread, pasties and sausage rolls. It also provides sweet foods such as cakes and biscuits. The prices of the goods are also extremely reasonable. The bakery is open twenty four hours a day apart from Saturday nights and it constantly has fresh goods being baked. Although there seems to be many drunken revellers who make stop at the bakery after nights out it always has a friendly atmosphere and the workers always have a smile. I love the Mistletoe Bakery! They've served me fresh bread at 2am, the best cornish pasty I've ever eaten (and at 4am). The guys who run the place are either brilliantly friendly or amazingly grumpy.The bread is brilliant, the pies are brilliant, but it is all definetly seen by night. Through the day, its just a normal bakery. Also be warned, it is very likely to be full of pissed students. | Report this

Bakery Open all Hours - squara2s (09/03/2008)

Nice little bakery tucked away in the leafy suburb of Jesmond. It's open 24 hours a day (except for Saturday nights) and is an ideal place for a midnight snack. | Report this
