I must say I felt compelled to review the service I received from Kirstins Soft Furnishings. I needed new blinds kitted out for my new flat in the city centre. I was recommended to try this company by a colleague who like me leads a busy lifestyle and doesn't have the time to spend on interiors the way I would like. The gist of her recommendation was that Kirstins had saved her hassle and delivered on what they said they would at a reasonable cost. I must say they more than lived up to this and more. The owner of the business just 'Got it' she seemed almost intuitive and knew what I needed and I literally gave them my thoughts and they did the rest but I was completely in the loop throughout. When they came to fit the blinds this was once again total hassle free and exactly what I needed, they just seemed to know that. I couldn't be happier about how I was dealt with as nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this company to anyone and indeed I already have done to a friend.|Report this

The most unprofessional service I have every had !Wanted ready made curtains altered including measuring & fitting ... Spoke to a lady who I think may be the owner who confirmed they do this so booked them to come out ... Asked if they could also give me some info when out about having a pelmet made & some cushions ... When they turned up I assumed they would have some pictures / brochure to let me see what pelmets & cushion styles available so I could choose ... She proceeded to tell me about different styles she could do but without pictures etc I had no idea what she was talking about ... concerned at this point I advised her I'd prefer to leave pelmet & cushions & just have curtains altered ... Then to my surprise was told she couldn't give me a price & would take my curtains & call me back that afternoon with the price before she started them ... A little concerned by this she assured me they would return them if I didn't go ahead ... 2 days later I had heard nothing from them and was starting to get concerned !! Called & same lady answered ... as soon as I said my name she interrupted me to say she was really busy, had to go & she'd call me tomorrow then hung up on me !!! Needless to say I heard nothing from her the next day either so just before 5pm I called again ... This time when she answered she told me she wouldn't be doing my curtains as it wasn't worth her while !!!!! Was taken aback by this & confused about why she'd have taken the curtains away if she didn't want the job ?!?! Asked when she would be able to drop my curtains back ... to this I was advised she wouldn't be bringing them back cos she didn't have time to run back & forward with them !!!! Reminded her that she assured me she'd return them if I didn't want to go ahead & also reminded her that it was her who'd decided she didn't want to do them !!! She told me that she'd no time to bring them back & I'd need to collect them myself & hung up after only giving me part of the address !!!! 10 minutes later she called me back & advised that she would drop them off the next day as would be in the area which I was please about ... However ... waited in til 5pm the next day & no sign of them !!!!!!!!! Had to collect them myself & found them extremely frosty when I went to the showroom ... rather confused by this attitude ... CATEGORICALLY THE WORST SERVICE I'VE EVER HAD & LADY WAS SO RUDE JUST DIDN'T SEEM TO CARE|Report this

Was very happy with the service I received so helpful with picking the material for my curtains & blinds would be happy to recommend family and friends as the overall service I received was excellent and I am very happy with the products I purchased.|Report this
