James Moir and Sons Ltd. were established in 1919 as a family run

business near Inverurie in Aberdeenshire. As the business has grown and

developed over the years it has changed direction, moving to

predominately steelwork fabrication during the 1960’s, culminating with

the present owners and directors purchasing the business in September

1997. The location of the works is approximately 20 miles north of

Aberdeen and only a few miles from the main A96 trunk road placing it

within an area ideally suited to serve both the North Sea Oil and Gas and

Construction Fabrication Industries.

Our commitment is to offer performance, value and adaptability in an

industry where customer demands and expectations are continuously

growing and changing.

At present we undertake projects in almost all shapes, sizes and variants

both in our fabrication workshops and on-site, ranging through Pipespools

in a multitude of materials and pressure ratings, Industrial and
