    Great Service - Have been their customer for over 30 years. Many new and used cars from them. Always honest, efficient and courteous service. That is why I keep going back to them! Garages don't often come top of honest service surveys - this is an exception!

    I've been taking my current car to H L Austin for servicing for a few years now and have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Now that I am thinking of buying a new car, the team at H L Austin have been helping me to choose the right car for me. I can't wait to get on the road and I'm sure the after care service from H L Austin will be just as great as the service I have always received.

    i am recommending this garage to all of my friends and family with confidence as i know they will be looked after. i purchased my little car from them three months ago, the salesman i dealt with was informative, patient and knowledgable. when i had a small problem a couple of weeks later, they did not hesitate to help. these things do happen and they could not have dealt with me any better. i do alot of mileage and i have no doubt my little car will keep on going with these guys looking after it. my mum is looking to upgrade her car in the coming weeks, i am sending her down there and i know ahe will be in good hands. an honest family run business, great to see as there is not many of those left. fantastic.?

    I bought a new Skoda from H L Austin earlier this year and they went the extra mile to ensure that I qualified for the government scrappage scheme whilst also getting the new model that was about to come out, but at the old price - can't beat that ! :-)

    Cant even give it half of one star,please beware when buying a car from these cowboys.Bought my skoda there 7 months ago and paid £3000.Ever since then its been in 4 times for one thing and another,but then the latest.Took it into a registered skoda garage last week whereupon i was told they had taken the engine apart and it was going to cost me £500,Not to be repaired,just for being looked at!!So i have in effect paid £500 for something that hasnt fixed my car,its the same as it was upon going in.It was then given the news that cos the damage was wear and tear,thr warranty hl austin gave it was worthless and im not covered for wear and tear.But if i want a new engine,it will only cost me £3000,what a bargain!I have to ask why HL Austin sold me a car that seven short months later needs a new engine?!When i contacted them to ask if there was anything they could do i was told if i didnt like it,go to trading standards which is exactly what i have done.Trading Standards also wonder how the car i was sold can have been fit for purpose with an engine that needs replacing in 7 months.This is my story and i hope you read it before buying a car from these people,if i can save someone else then maybe it wont all have been in vain.
