Gorsey Bank Primary School

Gorsey Bank Primary School is a two form entry primary school situated to the south ofManchester.

We have 420 children on role organised into fourteen classes with two classes in each year group.

Our pupils are our most important consideration and school is an enjoyable, successful and exciting experience for them. School is a place where they feel safe and secure, where they feel valued and cared for, and where they can achieve their full potential. We provide an environment where pupils, parents and governors are fully engaged in the learning process.

Learning is central to our work and we ensure a cross-curricular approach with a strong emphasis on first hand experience and high standards.

The school enjoys an enviable reputation in the town and we value our excellent partnership with parents. We have an active Parent Council and PTA. We also have Parent Governors. We hold regular meetings, curriculum workshops and informal discussions with parents.
