    I had this place recommended to me by a work colleague who spoke very highly of Tosca and Daughters. Apparently they are very well respected and are patronised by a wealth of high profile, public figures - a few photos of whom can be found displayed in the shop along with some glowing testimonials.I decided to take a vintage double breasted grey flannel suit that I bought from ebay for £50 to them for a full tailoring. A few weeks later, this boxy, rather ugly Austin Reed suit had transformed into a stunning - and I mean STUNNING - fashion item that looks like it cost £800.I also took a pair of moth eaten tweed trousers for invisible mending and, honestly, I now cannot tell where the damage used to be - their work is that good.Tosca and Daughters are magicians.

  3. Absolutely terrible.

    Gave in a jacket to have the sleeves taken up. Paid £115 for the service which I thought was steep but wanted it done so paid it. Nearly 2 months later and several visits to collect they still hadn't done it. Instead of an apology, the man was rude, verbally absuive and said he was too busy to care about my jacket. Very bad experience, aviod at all cost.

    Every now and then one comes across a gem. First Tailored totally amazed me with their craftsmanship, bringing to life a dead item of mine.
