About us

The south west's leading sewing machine company for all your machine, training, fabric and accessory needs. We offer Sales, service, advice and repairs.

We supply competitively priced, good quality and reliable products with the full back up and support you would expect from a local family business. We aim to provide a first class service for our customers, including schools and other local authority establishments. We don't offer any ridiculous 15 year warranties that some other web based dealers offer, usually with impossible conditions hidden in the small print,  just the normal 2, 3 or 5 year warranty backed up by the manufacturers.

Our four main sewing machine brands are Bernina, Brother, Husqavarna-Viking and Janome. In addition we have some models from Elna, Frister-Rossmann, Singer and Juki. We have a good range of overlockers especially Babylock. We also carry embroidery machines and embroidery software from our four main brands.

Secondhand machines are always available. We offer free sewing machine demonstrations and part exchange is sometimes possible.

We also have a good display of Horn sewing machine cabinets.

    I really like this shop, its full of everything you could ever need for sewing or patchwork with pretty much every colour thread or fabric you need! The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable too. Thank you for helping find a machine that suited me. Much appreciated. Would recommend.

    this is one of the most fabulous shops to visit, the staff have become friends, the range of fabrics, accessories, machines is excellent plus the non biased advice. I did a pattern cutting and tailoring course there and as a result am able to make and design my own clothes including lined and tailored garments. Janet who teaches these skills gives attention to detail at you own pace with individual attention david her husband is excellent for product and repair advice, nothing is too much trouble.Go in the door, the rooms are warm and friendly and quirky, it is the nicest touchy feely place I know.
