Having built up a sterling reputation since opening in 1971, Curry Mahal Putney serves authentic Indian & Bangladeshi cuisine with a fine dining twist. Crisp white walls are dotted with vintage maps and landscape pictures from Bangladesh.

Bringing expertise from some of the world’s finest Indian restaurants to the Curry Mahal kitchen, head chef Himmat Singh has also worked in the kitchen of London’s celebrated Cinnamon Club.

Staying true to tradition, Curry Mahal Putney offers a range finished in the authentic tandoor oven. A selective stock is also served up at the bar. Elegant and approachable, the dining room at Curry Mahal restaurant features camel coloured banquettes and glossy pin-striped floorboards.

    We really enjoyed the food prepared by their award winning Chef Mr Himmat. Customer service was well over we expected. Will visit again.
