We believe that good food should be reasonably priced, well presented and home cooked with quality uncompromised. Add to this a great atmosphere with happy, helpful staff and you get an idea of what we are all about! Food is our passion, just ask the locals where they go to eat and The Cottage Inn is top of the list. Many like to bring their dogs along to the bar area where treats await them. For those passing by, it's a welcome stop with a large car park ideal for caravans and motorhomes looking for a suitable place to stop for rest and refreshment. Homemade chutneys are available to buy, a very natural product that will convert even the most hardened shop-bought pickle folk! The dining room seats up to 70 people for group bookings, small parties are always welcome and tailor-made menus are available on request. Real ales, real fire and an ongoing commitment to providing consistently good, fresh food has helped us to build a fantastic return trade, families are always very welcome.
