Never Again

Out of the three phone calls we made to central taxis' two made us feel small and belittled because of the curt manner in which we were spoken to. Our first taxi was ten minutes late, only slightly improved by the polite, chatty driver who met us. When being picked back up later in the evening the text messaging service promised to be a good tool for letting us know when the taxi had arrived. However, we were let down by this and we waited thirty minutes before checking where our taxi was. We were told the taxi had been waiting for ten minutes but we had been looking out of the window waiting all of the time and no taxi had arrived.We were told that a new taxi could be dispatched. When the taxi finally arrived my wife and I were alarmed by the manner in which the taxi driver drove. 60mph in a 30mph speed limit! Therefore we will be using a different taxi company from now on.
