    Came home from work on monday evening to find i couldnt use the loo, bath/shower and sink. If i flushed the loo, the water came up into the bath and sink and wouldnt drain. It was disgusting! Looked for a plumber via the internet and phoned Core Independant Drainage the following morning. I spoke to Arthur who arranged to call round when i finished work and phoned me to let me know when he was on his way.He was very approachable, professional and reassured me he would be able to sort the problem out, even though he was faced with problems we didnt anticipate. He just got on with It. I also found him clearing rubble for me left by builders who had done a job previously. He didnt have to do that, and it just shows the type of person he is. I thought the job was probably going to" cost me" but i was more than suprised at how reasonable it was.I would highly recommend Arthur if your looking for a plumber. This is a very professionaly run business.

  3. A Credit To The Pool!

    It's difficult to know who to trust when you need property maintenance services, as I'm (or should I say "was"), of the opinion that they're always going to try and rip you off in some way. And from experience, they usually do. But so impressed was I with this chap's friendly no pressure approach and attention to detail, I'm almost embarrassed to admit I was wrong. For my sins, this review. The problem was a recurring blockage that flooded my garage (washing machine). I'd rod it through myself and it'd be fine for a while then come back. Spotted this Core Independent fellow working two doors down, and decided to just ask him about it as he was packing up to leave. He came over and took a look. Me, suspicious as ever, was waiting for him to push me, but he didn't. He spent around 25 minutes checking it out, which included asking a neighbour for access to a manhole, and using his own rods (which I objected to as I thought this is where I'm gonna get charged, and felt quite daft when he insisted it was purely for his own curiosity). Long story short: didn't charge me a bean, gave me his findings and recommendations and that was it! Later spoke to neighbour who'd had work done, and she couldn't fault him. So I gave him the job. Not only was his initial feedback proved spot on (root damage / damaged piping), but I was left eating so much humble pie at this chap's kindness and approachability, the least I could do is give the lad a notice. I also got him to put a manhole in for me, which he blended so well with my drive flagging, you can hardly see it! Would I recommend him? In spades! (See what I did there?) Cheap. Professional. Knows his stuff. Too nice by half. Would I use Core again? No, I now have my own manhole! ;) Arthur, if you're reading this, just kidding - job's yours, and mucho thanks again! Keep flying the flag for genuine honest contractors in Liverpool! Best wishes,Scotty (Oriel).

    Having the worst thing happen which is always at the weekend, my drain rods got stuck down the sewer pipes. One chance phone call to Arthur at Core drainage and as if I was talking to my best friend, within an hour he was out to help.So refreshing to find a genuine, helpful and professional tradesman, nothing was too much trouble. After doing some excavation work ourselves we called Arthur again on Sunday afternoon, yet again, within an hour he was back, sorted the problem with a cheerful manner, a pleasure to have done business with him, so genuine and helpful and at a very reasonable price. I would recommend Core Independant Drainage to anyone and can't say a big enough thank you to Arthur for his help. If only all workmen adopted Arthur's customer service.
