    A&K undertook this job in early March. The quote was very competitive and the work undertaken to a high standard. The work was explained at each stage and the workmen were helpful and polite. The work finished when scheduled and within budget and the site left tidy. We were pleased with the work and would use the company again.

    Having finally made the decision to go ahead, I'm delighted with my new roof. I found AK Roofing very efficient and fair. The men on the job were unfailingly courteous and helpful; they took pride in their work and the standard of workmanship is high. They also tidied up extremely well. I would definitely recommend them.

  3. Roof replacement, soffits, barge boards, insulation, guttering, strengthening work...

    The roof of my property had not been replaced for 20+ years and was in a very poor state of repair. As the title of this review suggests, much of the roof had to be replaced and A & K provided a very granular and competitve quote. It should also be noted that the adjoining property also had its roof replaced.A & K Roofing provided an outstanding level of service throughout and were happy to work with our engineer due to a number of modifications we required in the roof space. They were friendly, helpful, considerate and left the property very tidy when the job was completed.I would highly recommend A & K Roofing and would be delighted to act as a referee.

  1. replacement of lead roofing over bay window of dining room

    At least the third time i have used A & K Roofing to do a repair job at our home. I wasn't present for most of the time the two men were replacing the lead with roofing felt, but on my return shortly before they finished, spoke with them and inspected the job and found it well done. Moreover the two men were polite and friendly and most appreciative when i gave them a hot drink on a very cold day!

    Having called you out to look at my leaking roof I was concerned that the bill may escalate after the horrors that were uncovered on closer inspection, but I was pleasantly surprised when your consultant offered a cost effective solution. 24 hours later your quote arrived and it was clear, concise and easy to understand. Two days later works began and again your workman were courteous and answered any questions I had. The outside of my house was left clean and tidy at the end of each day and now you have gone you wouldn?t know you had ever been here apart for the fact I now have a roof that doesn?t leak! The quality of your workmanship and the pride taken by all in your company is clear to see. On time and on budget. Overall a refreshing change in this day and age. Many thanks!
